Most of the information i will be sharing with you
are tips i have used in business that has helped keep me in business till now
though i will also be bringing in some ideas from some very good books i have
read in time past.
The topic of entrepreneurship deals mainly with
becoming self-reliant. What I am sharing might not be new to you. But i am sure
you still have one or two things you can pick from my post and add to what you
already know.

ACTION (knowledge without action is a
waste of time)
I want to start from this point because it happens
to be the most important part of reading any book whether it is a business book
or any inspirational book for that matter. Using what you have learnt to the
fullest actually gets you the desired result in most cases. please note that it
will be a complete waste of your time if you will read this article or any
other book and finally close it and
congratulate yourself for a good read,
without actually practicing what you have learned.
I am not saying that every book has all the solution
you might need to succeed in any venture. Am just saying that the action part
is as important as the purchase of a good book.
You never know how badly people need your services
until you start giving it. So the longer you sit there contemplating whether to
start or not, the more people you are depriving from getting the stuff you have
to offer. Also any idea you think you have, there are many out there with the
same idea so the earlier you start, the better you avoid becoming second best
in what you know.
BUSINESS WITH ZERO CAPITAL
Starting without money is so easy. You don’t need
money to start helping people, what matters is the passion you have to help.
Monetizing later on is not a completely bad idea but it should come out of
passion to grow better in helping others get needs met. When you are able to
make your dream come through, you are indirectly making another person’s dream
come also.
Do you know how many dreams came through because of
google, facebook, youtube, Amazon, and many other sites? What of individuals
like bilgate, Trump and others? They all started from a little idea like the
one in your head right now.
CAN IT RUN WITHOUT ME?
One very important thing in business is to make the
business is non-dependent on you to properly run. If the business depends on
you to run then it will surely crash when you are not there.
BE HAPPY DOING IT
Do what makes you happy because the real point of
doing anything at all is to be happy so don’t just do something for any other
reason outside being happy. If what you do right now doesn’t make you happy,
please change to something else that does.
PERSIST
The word persistence should only cross your mind
when it has to do with improving and inventing things. Persistence in such
areas eventually pays off. No one makes it when they quit easily. Uncommon
inventions are born out of bigger sacrifices with lots of rise and falls. So
don’t just give up because you failed a couple of times or you get a no for an
answer.
Building a business is a really enjoyable process
and the difficult times make the success even more satisfying.
GIVE QUALITY SERVICE
When your product is something people want,
customers will do the marketing for you, and that’s half the work done.
LEARN MORE
Let your marketing start small from your environment,
from friends and family.
Sometimes profit doesn’t start rushing in as soon as
you begin a business so don’t always expect much at startup. Learn by books and
from experience of others on how you can succeed as an entrepreneur.
Most times, your customers, audience, and consumers
have the best ideas you will ever need to turn your business around. So provide
avenues for them to make suggestions and criticize your services or business.
Present each new idea or improvement to the world
and here their responses, if it’s positive then you should probably give it a
shot. But otherwise dump the idea. But by all means keep improving that idea
until it gets the much needed responses. If an idea comes to mind at it
simple throws you off balance with excitement, then it probably is a pointer
that you should jump into it right away.
But if plenty of doubts cloud your mind then you
should probably pause and reconsider.
CUSTOMER FIRST
Everything you do in business is for your customers
and every customer wants to have your full attention. All you need do is ask
for what you can do to improve your services to them and you will be gaining
their confidence. Make your customers happy, let them feel important
and they will spread the word to others.
BUSINESS PROSTITUTE
Don’t be a business prostitute jumping from one
business to another. Focus on getting to a comfortable level before you even
think of jumping to another. Take time to learn from the business.
Face the challenges and persist.
LOOK OUT
Never assume you know everything your business will
be doing so be open to suggestions and improvement opportunities.
BIG OR USEFUL
Being useful is more important in business than
being big. ‘Big’ needs money but 'useful' doesn’t and will definitely make you
big. So start with only a fragment of your bulk of vision. The most important
lesson will be that you had a humble beginning.This will put you ahead of those
waiting to start because you took an actual step instead of waiting for money.
And it will keep you in the game even if you have to be at the 99th position
for now. Dreaming of becoming an international business tycoon can begin
with just 5 to 10 customers and grow from there.
Starting puts 100 percent of your energy into
actually solving real problems for real people. Because you will find out what
your customers really need and begin to work on meeting that need.
ACTION AGAIN
Everything you are reading now is worth nothing
unless you begin to execute them. Execution is worth a million dollar.
The only ideas that makes sense are the once backed up with
action.
SOME COINS HAVE PLENTY SIDES
You can’t pretend there’s only one way to do it.
Your first idea is just one of many options. No successful business goes
as planned, so make ten radically different plans and always focus on the part
of improvement.

Provide qualitative yet affordable product and
services. Come to think of it;

Everybody wants it affordable yet qualitative.
Look for the balance and you will be on top of
the game.
ADMINISTRATION
Team focus must be strong to build a good business
Be prepared for future challenges and uncertainties
Find out what works and what don’t, then channel
your energy to what works.
A partner you will need must be someone you can
easily tap ideas from and not someone with similar ideas to yours. Surround
yourself with people who can help your business grow. This is the first
and most important secret of top entrepreneurs. You may not necessarily
have the complete knowledge of what you want to do but having the right minds
surround you will help you succeed in that venture.
LEAVE THAT COMFORT ZONE
Great businesses are usually built during hard times
says Chesterman. Times of recession are usually times when people think better.
Situations will usually force the best out of you. When the only way out
for you is making this business work, I guess you will wake up and make it
work. That comfort zone of yours stagnates so never get comfortable with where
you currently are.
STOP UNDERESTIMATING THE INTERNET
No matter how small your business might be. Bring it
to the net. Don’t wait till it’s a giant business.
If you have a good idea please go for it and never
let fear stop you or just because it has never been done before shouldn’t be a
barrier. Even if your idea has been done before, try to do it
differently from others and you will stand out.
Most people will go to google search before they do anything
and you will miss out plenty of customers if your business isn’t there.
Identify markets online and provide better services than existing once will
simply put you ahead of competitors.so if you can just put up a team to help
achieve this. That’s it.
IT'S DANGEROUS TO LOOK BACK
Don’t ever look back once you started. And don’t
ever let distractions hold you back. And don’t be afraid of mistakes. They make
the success sweeter
Only few businesses are new out there so if you ever
want to do what others are already into, don’t be too sophisticated, just
ensure your business is doing and giving what it promised.
PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS
Invest in online promotion is one aspect you don’t
want to leave out because that’s where you will find those who need what you
are offering.
DO BUSINESS AS IF YOU DON'T NEED THE
CASH
Darek sivers wrote in his book "anything
you want".
He said Business should never be a lifetime venture.
So let it never completely depend on you to succeed. Focus on what matters in a
business will no doubt make your exploit limitless. In this case; Customers,
ideas, rock.
CUSTOMERS
ARE SMART
When someone’s doing something for the money, people
can sense it, like they sense a desperate lover. When someone’s doing
something for love, being generous instead of stingy, trusting instead of
fearful, it triggers this law: We want to give to those who give.
CONCLUSION
Always think team work. Give
everyone a chance to make a honest mistake without being punished and always be
ready for competition in business so never stop improving to avoid being kicked
out of business. And most of all take action today.
